Free access
Event Risk Trainer is free to use. All twelve historical lessons and the private live-evidence guide are available without a payment, account, or access code. Free access is not a promise that the site or every feature will be hosted forever.
Education, not investment advice
The trainer provides generic education. It does not know your finances or objectives, recommend a transaction, select or size a position, authorise execution, predict the next crisis, or promise gains or avoided losses. Historical outcomes do not establish how a future event will unfold. You remain responsible for real decisions and professional advice where appropriate.
Strategy calculators apply the values you enter to historical simulations. They do not calculate personal tax unless the page explicitly says a validated country model is included, and they do not establish the chance that your future plan will succeed.
Your FIRE guide may explain the current page and suggest which published FIRE Decision Lab strategy or exercise best fits the goals and tradeoffs you describe. Those suggestions remain educational comparisons. The guide does not tell you to place, size, authorize, or execute a current transaction.
Your work
You may export and keep your own trainer answers for personal use. Progress in both practice tools stays in your browser unless you enter an email and choose Save progress inside that tool. This creates or updates only that tool's online copy. Email login and every online copy are optional. Imported live evidence and private live briefs always remain on your device. A strategy article keeps a retirement goal in your browser unless you are signed in and choose Save as my default. Assistant discussions and remembered details also stay in your browser while you are signed out. If you choose email login, they are copied to your profile so you can continue them on another device, and you can inspect or delete them inside the guide.
Previous email choices
The project was archived on 21 September 2026. New email signups, research updates and course reminders have ended. Login codes remain available on request and do not subscribe you to anything. You can remove previous email choices on the progress page or request deletion through the support address in the privacy notice.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, bypass security, publish a copy of the trainer or its lesson content, or use automated scraping to create a competing product. Ordinary personal, educational, and classroom use is welcome.
Availability and changes
We may correct errors, improve security, replace data, change a feature, or retire the service. Planned maintenance and provider outages may temporarily interrupt access.
Law and contact
The responsible organisation is Yusuf Young AB. Swedish law governs these terms, while consumers keep mandatory protections that apply where they live. Questions can be sent to hello@firedecisionlab.com.
